Survived By: Her husband, Everett, died in 1984. Survivors include two children, Evan Armstrong of Spokane and Marcia Otteson of Chimacum, Wash.; two sisters, Shirley Elton of Sun City, Ariz., and Mildred Platt of Kalispell, Mont.; a brother, Andy Hammer of Missoula; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Olga S. (Hammer) Armstrong, 96, who was born in Elk Point, S.D., died Wednesday. Raised in Valier, Mont., she graduated as high school valedictorian and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana and a Master of Library Science from Whitworth College. Her first job was as a physical education teacher at Central School in Great Falls, then librarian for Havermale Junior High, and Ferris and Shadle Park High schools in the 1960s. An avid church member, she rose to the position of national president of the Women's Fellowship of the Association of Evangelicals. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta and P.E.O. She founded the libraries at Spokane's Fourth Memorial Church and Esperance Baptist Church in Edmonds, Wash., spending many of her retirement years assisting with library organizations.
