In Memory

Brinda Babcock

(Copied from the All-Class Reunion website.)

Brinda was full of life and had a smile for everyone she met. She loved volunteering for animal shelters and was very involved in her church. She continued playing her flute and was an avid country music and Star Trek fan. Brinda also loved snapping photos of everyone and everywhere she went. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Now she can hang out with her Daddy up in heaven and he will forever keep her safe and sound. RIP

Brinda passed away suddenly and tragically on January 16th, 2013.

Brinda was born on July 30th, 1963 in Spokane, Washington to her loving parents Duane and Betty Babcock. She graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School. Later on she moved to St. Louis and worked as a senoir records clerk at At&T. She attended St. Paul’s United Church of Christ and under Pastor Tom Ressler, she cultivated a deep love for God and a devotion to the church. She also enjoyed her time singing in the church choir, where she made many dear friends. Brinda also really loved animals of all sorts, but especially cats and in her spare time she would volunteer her efforts at the Clowder House-a cat rescue group. She loved to listen to country music and enjoyed watching Star Trek. When people think of Brinda, they always remember her kindness, her positive nature and how she was always happy and smiling.

Brinda was preceded in death by her father, Duane Babcock. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her dear mother Betty; her beloved son Ben Jones; her two sisters Tami Martin and Crystal Wilson; her brother Ross Babcock; other relatives and many friends.
