Bruce Carl McAtee, age 57, of Auburn, WA, passed away on March 4, 2022 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Bruce never allowed his illness to dampen his positive spirit and he lived his life to the fullest to the very end.
Bruce was born on May 5, 1964 to Frayne Leigh McAtee Jr., and Marie McAtee in Spokane, WA.
Bruce graduated from Ferris High School in 1982. After graduation, he was employed as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the aerospace industry. Later in life, Bruce was employed by Auburn School District as a school bus driver, a job he truly enjoyed.
He met Vicki Schondelmayer at the Hungry Farmer Restaurant in Spokane, WA. They moved to Auburn, WA and married in 2006.
Bruce enjoyed playing guitar and played in many different bands over the years, including Kap'n Crunch & the Cereal Killers. As a kid growing up, Bruce loved to spend time with his family at their cabin on Lake Pend Oreille. He was a fantastic cook and also enjoyed spending time with his buddies at Rail Hoppin Brewery in Auburn, Wa.
Bruce was predeceased by his father, Frayne Leigh McAtee, Jr., his step-brother, David Levno and his step-mother, Patricia McAtee. He is survived by his wife, Vicki McAtee, his beloved mother, Marie Quackenbush, brothers Frayne McAtee III and Mark McAtee, his Uncle, Laurence (Bert) McAtee, Cousins, Shelly Crossen and Michael McAtee, step sisters, Sherri Cummings and Laura Koepke, and many nieces and nephews.https://www.forevermissed.com/bruce-carl-mcatee/lifestory
