In Memory

Kevin Benedict

(From https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/spokesman/name/kevin-benedict-obituary?id=54728191.)

Kevin was a man who was strong and persevered through whatever adversity he faced in his life, but the pain and struggles within himself became too much for him on February 28, 2024. He was born and raised in Spokane, WA, where he developed many friendships that would be lifelong. Kevin was a man who cherished his friends like family.

There were so many relationships he developed over the years as the owner of Central Saw Works, a family business started in 1947 in Spokane. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and favorite uncle.

Kevin's favorite places were in a crowded room full of family, around a campfire with lifelong friends, catching a trout on a fly rod, or in a gym watching wrestling.

Kevin is survived by his children and three grandchildren; his brothers and sister; all his nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth L. Axtell Perry and Charles S. Benedict.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Yates Funeral Home is entrusted with final arrangements. Please visit Kevin's online memorial and sign his guestbook at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com. [Tribute page here: https://www.yatesfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/Kevin-Scott-Benedict?obId=31067496#/obituaryInfo]
