I walked past Richard's house on my way to and from Jefferson Grade School for seven years, so I was aware he had a difficult childhood. He moved away after 8th grade but returned sometime at the end of our years at LC. I have thought of Richard at different times over the decades, and always hoped he had found happiness and peace in his adult life. Rest in Peace Richard. I know you were a good man, and you are in a good place now.
