Cheryl Pittenger Overby

The family of Cheryl Overby is saddened is to announce her passing on February 27, 2022.  She was born on March 24, 1945, to Ellis and Clarella Pittenger in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1963.  Shortly after graduation she went to work at Randall and Danskin Attorneys at Law as a secretary and became a paralegal, retiring after 45 years in the same office.

Cheryl married Vern in 1969 and together raised 2 soms, Todd and Ryan (Amy).  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Rachel and Ethan, visiting family in Colorado, California, and Kentucky, and fulfilled a lifel ong dream trip to Europe.  Golf was her passion, and she played weekly with her group, The Esmerelda Emeralds.  She was also an avid baskedball fan and had an affinity for Gonzaga hoops.  If you ware fortunate to know Cheryl, she was a caring, loving, and loyal friend.  She is preceded in death by  her brother David Pittenger and survived by numerous nieced and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held on May 4, 2022, at Greenwood Memorial Terrace at 2:30 PM.
