I met Bob when he enrolled in the fifth grade at Whittier grade school. Bob always had a smile and an infectious laugh. I recall he was a pretty good marble player during our grade school years. I lost contact with Bob during our LC years. May Bob rest in peace and my condolences to Bob's surviving family.

I met you in the fifth grade @ Whittier. Bob, you were a really good marbles shooter/player and beat me most of the time. And your laugh/smile was contagious. Thanks for introducing me to those tasty butterscotch sundaes down at the pharmacy and soda fountain near the hangman creek bridge. Last I and Butch saw you was at the casino having breakfast. That's when your infectious smile and laugh had me recognize you. I remember sleigh riding with you down seven devils with the other kids in the neighborhood. Your mischief playfulness was exciting. May you rest in peace, Bob.
Love you, Fred.

Another Whittier attendee here who remembers Bob through the years. Whittier was a very small school, but many of us lost track of one another in high school as we blended into a student body of 2,700. I don't think I ever ran into Bob at LC. As has been mentioned, I too remember him by his laugh, and he was able to find humor everywhere. May you find eternal peace in your new journey, Bob. You were one of the good guys.
