Robert F. Langdon (1945 - 2017) Obituary

Robert F. Langdon "Bob" passed away peacefully after a struggle with Parkinson's Dementia on May 28, 2017, in Spokane, WA.  He was bon in Spokane to parents William and Mary Langdon on January 1, 1945.  He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1963.  He served in the Vietnam Nam War in the United States Army.  Soon after he returned home, on May 31, 1969, he married Maxine Mundt in Sioux Falls, SD.  Bob always called Spokane "God's Country" where he resided his entire life.  Bob loved spending time with his family.  His hobbies through the years were riding his motorcycle, working on/driving his antique cars, and refinishing his Century Wood Boat.  His greatest passion was spending time outdoors on his boat, water skiing, or just taking in the sun.  He enjoyed working in his yard, "mowing"!  His career life consisted of working in the sales industry and as a commercial lawn contractor.  Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maxine; children, Cindy Vrendenburg (Bill) and son, Chad Langdon (Ashley); grandchildren, Bradley and Brooklyn Langdon; step-grandchildren, Cynthia Cotham (Cole), Emily and Austin Vredenburg; sister, Patty Selden (Niles); in-laws, Doloris and Boyd Hopkins; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Langdon and brother, Cliff Langdon.  Thank you, North Central Care, for the wonderful care you gave Bob and the support you showed to our family.  A Military Honors Memorial Service will be held at 11:15 a.m., June 22, 2017, at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 West Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA 99022.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to: P.O. Robert F. Langdon "Bob" passed away peacefully after a struggle with Parkinson's Dementia on May 28, 2017, in Spokane, WA. He was born in Spokane to parents, William and Mary Langdon on January 1, 1945. He gradu-ated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1963. He served in the Vietnam War in the United States Army.
