I remember Dusty from Jefferson.  He always wore his cowboy belt buckle and loved to play Kick Ball and Softball.  Our 5th grade teacher , Mr. Reed, let us watch the World Series ( Dodgers vs Yankees) in class and Dusty enjoyed the games along with the rest of us.  I though  he was  pretty darn cute.  It sounds like he has such a nice family and I know he'll be missed.

I also worked at Kaiser-Trentwood when Dusty was emplyed there and I sledom saw him. I dicussed this with another person, Denny who actually worked in production with Dusty for several years and he said Dusty was really a fun guy to work with. Knowing more about Dusty I have to wonder when he was in Vietnam and where he was stationed? It's possible that we may have been only a few miles apart in Vietnam and never knew it. Such a small world. Kaiser-Trentwood was a difficult place to work at due to the rotating shifts of days, swing, and wonderful garveyards. I miss none of it. Sadly the shift work very likely contributed to many others I've known passing away before their time. God bless them all and may they be in heavenly peace now.
