Jay and I joined the Navy together right after graduation in June. I wasn't planning on that, he was. I visited his recruiter with him in the middle of June and was persuaded to join too. We were out of there (Spokane) two weeks later. We attended boot camp in San Diego together and actually had a great time. He opted to go into aviation electronics while I opted for shipboard electronics. He was off to Memphis for schooling while I went to San Francisco. We lost touch after that until I heard of his passing in the 90's sometime. We certainly had some great times together at LC.

Jay and I messed around with our old cars. Jays 40 Ford Coupe and my brothers 40 as well.
I still look back at the weekends at Priest Lake that we had. I just loved his mom and dad.
Jay became a car mechanic in the Seattle area and we hooked a up couple of summers as
he visited Spokane. We spent many hours laughing together at some of the stunts we pulled
off. Jay you I were truly great friends and plan to see you in Heaven.
