ROSENBERRY, Terry, Jr. (Ralph McInnis) Terry (Ralph McInnis) Rosenberry Jr. passed away on April 16th 2010,surrounded by loved ones, after a brave battle with Leukemia. Terry was born on February 10th, 1944 in Spokane, WA to Ralph and Margaret Rosenberry. In 1966 he joined theYakima Police Department. While on the police department, Terry met and married Carole Johnson in May of 1967. They were blessed with twochildren, Tracy and Todd (Ralph III). During the 70's Terry was the drummer for "Cops' LTD". The band often did double duty providing music and security for many Yakima high school dances. The pleasure he derived from music was one of his greatest joys. Terry moved to the Tri-Cities in 1982 where he served for two years on the Franklin County Sheriff's department, helping to bring K-9 units to Franklin County. Terry's desire to assist his mother brought him back to Spokane in 1984 where he put his charm and charisma to work as a salesman. Upon his return to Spokane Terry met and married Carla Chapman in 1988. Carla had a young son, Matt whom Terry adored and raised as his own. Terry became seriously ill and was forced to retire in 2006. It was a bittersweet time; but allowed him to focus on the joys and blessings in his life. While he was physically able Terry spent all his time with family at the lake, in Yakima and Spokane. Terry was a fighter and fought for his life for four long years. Throughout that battle he never lost his trademark sense of humor. Terry was preceded in death by his father Ralph Sr., mother Margaret, son Trevor, two brothers, Bruce and John Rosenberry and his niece Kristin Rosenberry. Terry is survived by his wife Carla, his daughter Tracy (Jeff) Austin of Yakima, two sons Ralph Rosenberry III (Todd) and Matt (Ivy) Chapman of Spokane, four grandsons, Brandon and Seth Austin of Yakima and Gage and Egan Chapman of Spokane, granddaughter, Krystal (Brad) Woodard of Idaho, brothers James Rosenberry and Mark Rosenberry and his sisters,Johanna Rosenberry-Lane and Martha Rosenberry and many nieces,nephews and cousins, all of whom he adored.
