Completed a 30-year career in the insurance claims field and retired on December 31, 2007 at Dallas, Texas. Moved to the Texas Gulf Coast and have been enjoying retirement, living one mile from Fulton Harbor and Aransas Bay, our two rescue dogs, and usually having no schedule or obligations.

I am the chief groundskeeper and maintenance man for our 2/3 acre of sand, 100 or more live oak trees, a dozen or more various palm trees. Laura and I support the local Humane Society, the Volunteer Fire Department, and the many arts and crafts shows and community activities of the Rockport-Fulton community.

See above. I also like driving and tinkering on my little Jeep and my potential "collector vehicle" a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT pickup.

We also like the great variety of seafood ...and other food, too...which is plentiful here and throughout the Texas Coastal Bend. So we try to check out new restaurants and old favorites on a regular basis.

I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively professionally, but not outside the United States and mostly in the west and south. Professionally, I have traveled the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountain States, the Central States along the Mississippi River, and the State of New Mexico.

Some of our favorite places to visit for fun are San Antonio, New Orleans, Nashville, and Branson.
