In February of 2022 we did a quick little survey which we posted on our fb group page to help us determine when the optimal time would be to have a reunion. When the results were tallied we basically had a tie between the first or second weekend in August. With that information we chose the first weekend in August to plan your 35th Alumni reunion. Our main means of communicating was through the facebook group page Mead 87. In this fb group for the past three years we have consistently retained 255 - 298 members and as of this writing (2022-07-29 / 3pm) we have 296 members. However in the fb group page there are only 60-85 active alumni, if we count the entire year of activity, when I count the past four months the number falls to 40 alumni. This explains the low turn out numbers for our 35 reunion. So we need to stop relying on the fb group, and fb direct messenger as our sole communications channels when organizing for a reunions. We do need to update our class contact list which is an on going job, and I would like to ask for each of your contining support in collecting and gathering this data. When you run across an Alumni get their contact information and submit it to us via the email address < MeadClass1987@gmail.com> so that we may contine to have updated info. When we are all working on this actively together it will take the load off any one person.

When is a good month or time of year for future reunions for us to be thinking about? We ask this question because the summer months are always so busy, vacations, summer lake cabin rentals, family reunions, great weather in the PNW and everyone wants to get outside.

AM I OVER THINKING ALL OF THIS? Because you can not please everybody; make a plan, get the information out there, If they can show up and they want to they will show up.
Otherwise "it is what it is" and quit stressing.
