Up until 1972 I worked in heavy construction building power houses (for electric power production.) When our project finished my boss offered me choices of managing a refinery in Kuwait or a mining operation in Northern Minnesota. With two young children I accepted a position as a employee benefit trust fund administrator for a pipe trades union in Spring Valley.
After 13 years I moved on to CEO of administration of pension and medical benefits for 15,000 RNs at teaching hospitals mostly in NYC and the area- My offices were in Albany- I was there from 1985. After 22 years moved on & have been doing some consulting, volunteer work and writing.

We like to travel and in October '09 we were off to Europe for two weeks- Great trip!

Finally moved to Kauai- Summer of 2015

Here it is 2024!!! We are still improving with age.

Well, headed into into the 80th year taking up space as of 13 January 2024

We were doing a spoof of the Broadway show Blithe Spirits, called High Spirits. In one scene the entire theatre including backstage is totally black for four minutes while ghostly things happen onstage. We had gone through this for several rehearsals and everyone had to stay absolutely still while the lights were out. There was a girl I had a severe crush on who was also backstage, about 6 paces from where I was. The reason I'm sure about this distance is that I had been doing my own rehearsals.

As soon as the lights went out I quietly went up to her, turned her around and planted a big kiss on her. l I then carefully sneaked back the six paces and looked away as the lights came up. I could see her looking around but I never let on that it was me. I wonder If she remembers.
