OK GANG, WE HAVE FINALIZED THE REUNION DATES AND PLANS!!!
Here is what we have decided:
Friday, July 31st-We are going to have an informal get together at JD LEGENDS in Franklin Ohio. We will have an area reserved for all of the Alums. This is a very popular local bar, so we suggest that you arrive early. Many of us will be there early to help everyone know where we are. Your family is welcome and bowling will be available. Keep in mind, there may be a league scheduled, so times and lanes may be limited. The area where we will be located is outside, so dress appropriately. Also, this is a pay-for-what-you want. There MAY BE a $5 cover charge, we are checking into this now.... but everyone is responsible for his-her own drinks-food. No need to RSVP for this event.

Saturday August 1st-There are a couple of events planned for this day. Late Morning-Early afternoon, we are going to reserve a pavilion in Springboro (Clearcreek Township). This will be an unorganized event...what this means is everyone is responsible for their own food and entertainment. This is designed so alums can gather and have a safe, family oriented event. As soon as we have the park reserved, we will announce the times. No need to RSVP for this event
Saturday Night-we have changed the venue. Heather Leuzinger Sukola secured a great deal for us. We will have our formal dinner at Marriot Hotel in Downtown Dayton. The tickets will cost $50.00 per person. This includes the rental of the room, meal, gratuity, and DJ. This will require anyone and everyone who wants to attend, to prepay. The cut off date for the $50.00 cost will June 1st. Any registration after June 1st goes up to $60.00 per person. The absolute cut-off day for registering for this event will be July 21st. We WILL NOT be able to add anyone after this date. This $10.00 discount is in place to encourage our Alums to pre-register. Please take advantage of this discount. We will be able to refund all monies, if someone needs to cancel, up to July 1st. Sorry, but because of planning, reservations, deposits, refunds will not be available after this date. Also, this price does not include ADULT BEVERAGES. Water, tea, coffee, and soft drinks are included. We made the decision that everyone will not want to enjoy a beer, cocktail, or a glass of wine. It would not be fair for those who will not drink, to pay for those who will. Because of this decision, there will be a CASH BAR available.

FROM NORTH:
Driving Directions: I-75 South to Route 35 East. Take Ludlow/Perry St Exit (1st Exit)
to Ludlow Street. Turn right onto Ludlow Street. Proceed to first stoplight, bear to right
onto Patterson Boulevard. Proceed to River Park Drive and turn left. Hotel on the right.
FROM SOUTH:
Driving Directions: I-75 North to Exit 51 (Edwin C. Moses Blvd). Turn right at stoplight.
Proceed to Washington Street. Turn right onto bridge. Proceed to Ludlow Street (3rd stoplight)
Turn right onto Ludlow Street. Proceed to first stoplight, bear to right onto Patterson Boulevard.
Proceed to River Park Drive and turn left. Hotel on the right.
*It has been brought to our attention that the Patterson Street Bridge may be closed to construction. As soon as we have the new directions, we will post them in red...sorry for the confusion.
The time for the dinner will be 7pm-11pm. The dinner menu will be decided soon. Also, Heather has secured us a special room rate. I will forward everyone a link to reserve a room. As far as it being a "FORMAL DINNER"...here is what we are thinking. Casual dress, i.e....no shorts, no flip flops, no ties, no cocktail dresses...just casual. Come how you want!!!
And Sunday, August 2nd-We will have a list of all of the local church services. If you are from out of town and would like to attend church, we will have ya covered.
Also, we are debating a Dayton Dragons Minor League Baseball game. We can reserve up to 300 tickets in a special area. The cost of these tickets would be $11 per person. We are only going to buy tickets that have been paid for in advance. The cut-off date for this would be April 1st, since the season begins mid-April, and we would have to reserve early. We would like some feedback on this idea. Again, this would be a family friendly event.
So there it is, I will update this often. Remember, pay early and save $10 per person.
