Wow, let's see 20 years...graduated from LLCC, and SIU-Carbondale. In 1993, moved to Minneapolis to further my degree in Computer Graphics & Animation, met my Randy, engaged 6 weeks later..finished my schooling & moved back to Springfield (my husband liked the weather better..golf)...married May 1996. Beautiful Ashley born in July'97 and Angel boy Austin in Jan '03... Life was on track....
On March 2005, my son (due to vaccine-injuries) slipped into the horrific world of Autism, well...after tears, trial & error,diets,supplements.. the BEST Docs in the world, prayers and promises to the God ALL Mighty....in November of 2008, we all successfully pulled him through the window of Autism and he is recovered,...with managed biomedical care...vitamins..etc. We have been blessed! The last 4 years have been quite challenging, and has truly put a new meaning in my life as stay at home mom. He will be in kindergarten this fall...no aid, no label...mainstreamed and a genius!! I have been helping families who have children on the spectrum, and am considering going back to school in Biomedical Medicine. My Ashley keeps me busy, theater is her passion, she says "Broadway is her dream, but reality..a Speech Pathologist." ..go figure...
My husband,(Director for Verizon Wireless in Government)... 13 years later is still the love of my life and my Rock! Life is FINALLY back on track, & Wonderful, and slowly getting back to the norm...which just to breathe again would be a gift.
