Jen Durbin

uh, changed my name to Jen.
Went to UW-Madison for Journalism.
Worked in Advertising as a headhunter in Chicago for 2 years or so, when I fell off a porch and broke my left arm and lost use of left hand. Learned to draw with right hand while in traction back in spfld. took that as a sign from God. quit my job, put myself through art school (SCULPTURE) at Art Institute in Chicago. Got accepted to Yale for my MFA, moved out East. Eventually to Brooklyn. Set up shop, started exhibiting. Worked as a Scenic Painter in Film World. Open two businesses, one artist studios other a Film Stage (www.the1896.com). Got married to Michael, musician/teacher - built an Apartment out of this 100 year old building...and now.....I sculpt. sculpt. sculpt. sculpt. sculpt!
