Kelly Swedick

After high school I got my Bachelors & Masters degrees in Social Work @ the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Since college I've moved around a bit... first to the Big Apple, then Arizona, Hawaii, Virginia (D.C. area) & lastly to Washington State.
I travel whenever possible - around the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, & most recently Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands! :)
In 1996 my college beau & I got hitched on a seaside cliff on Prince Edward Island (off the coast of Atlantic Canada). Rob's been putting up with me ever since!

After college I worked in (human) foster care & adoption agencies - but eventually I switched over to animal foster care & adoption - MUCH less red tape & drug addiction to contend with!
Now I'm a self-employed animal & landscape photographer, but I continue to spend my free time volunteering with local animal welfare organizations.
I live about 35 miles due east of Seattle, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. It's an incredibly beautiful part of the country, and I'm pretty sure that my interstate moving days are over!
