Things have been very busy since graduating Southeast!

I graduated from ISU May of 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education. Zak graduated from Illinois Wesleyan at the same time with a degree in Biology.

That summer we got engaged. I got a 3rd grade teaching position in District 186. Zak went to medical school that summer.

We got married the following summer July 19, 2003.

We had our beautiful daughter Lydia February 9, 2006. We are so lucky to be her parents! She is just so much fun.

Three months later, Zak graduated from medical school (May 2006). YEAH!!

I am in my 6th year teaching. Zak has a year or so left of residency. Thank GOD!! What a long road!

Also, Kendra Palmer (Diss) and I live right behind each other. We are the best of friends! It is so much fun to watch our kids grow up together!

I will always remember Shaindel Gorden and others convincing me to get rid of the BANGS!

Also spending the night at Kendra Palmers' house...A LOT!

Making a great bunch of friends that I still keep in touch with today!
