I'm back in Texas!!!! (Jan 2013-???) I love home (NE), but really my heart is here. I live in the Killeen area and working in an ER, can't get away from the dramaticness of that and the night shift!!!
Bellevue Medical Center since July 2011-December 2012, moved home at that time. Glad to be home!! Left to go back to Texas January 2013.
RN, Paramedic
Southwest General Hospital....I am the Trauma Program Coordinator; which means that I manage the hospital's trauma program to ensure that it complies with the state regulations to be an active Trauma Designated Facility in the the state of Texas.
I am also an active Paramedic and volunteer/work in a 911 Fire/EMS agency. It is amazing to be able to care for the people in your community and be recognized for just "doing your job".
Clarkson College of Nursing
Bellevue University
Bryan LGH School of Nursing--1994 graduated and moved to Texas 2 days after graduation day to a nursing job.
Kindergarten!!!
I try to get my sister to keep me informed...she does a horrible job!!! It's hard when your so far from home!!!
I would love to just see everyone
Still play a little softball and volleyball; not often but the ER has a softball team.
Still play a little Clarinet; when I have a free moment.
I remember getting Richie the morning of Powder Puff....Jason and Richie...still have that wonderful picture of you two, what a couple of cuties!!!
Mr. Neuman....he inspired me to seek out the new and exciting; and to not be afraid of failure.
Mr. & Mrs. Leigh....the most down to earth but stern teachers ever!!
Mr. Salberg....was hard to get in trouble since he knew my parents; he knew everyone's and wasn't about to let you get away with anything!!
Mr. McGill.....made history very cool!!
That I was a "good girl"; I am nothing but!!!
Having not challenged myself more; not been more outgoing and adventurous!!
I would say it is my current job/position. I love what I do, I network with nurses, physicians, legislators and try to envoke change in healthcare.
Moved >900 miles from home!!! and stayed away...
I was at a Nursing conference in Washington, DC; and was able to spend some time just being a tourist. Arlington Cemetary...totally awesome!! All the buildings and history related to the nation's capital...also totally amazing. The nation's history is something we should never forget.
Check me out on FaceBook!! Twitter, KiK....
