Dearest Classmates--
Our combined reunion the weekend of June 28-29-30, 2024 WAS a rousing success!!
At Friday night's “Meet & Greet” at the bar in the Hyatt’s lobby we met with some long, lost friends who had had plans Saturday and couldn't attend the event.
The “Main Event” Saturday evening June 29, 2024, was a blast. Everyone loved to see each other; lots of laughing, carousing, hugging, chatting, cutting up. It was also magical to see that everyone seemed to talk with everyone else, having outgrown those old cliques! (That's so high school!)
We were able to twist Mr. Marionni's arm to attend--it didn't take much twisting! And when "Uncle Rollie" walked in, the excitement level of the entire event jumped <ahem, you'll pardon the chemistry reference> a few quanta!
Being a half-century milestone, the event was even more memorable than we all had hoped!! We were encouraged by the response and the attendance.
HOWEVER, to those of you, dear classmates, who missed our/your event, you might not realize how much you WERE missed! We were all reveling, but we WERE sorry not to see you and were all abuzz with "HEY! Where's [your name here]? I miss him/her!" and with "I do too!!"
Especially you Mountainsiders!! As of now, you Mountainsiders also missed the Governor Livingston-1974's Reunion on 10/19/24 that Mark Pomo and others had headed up! I heard from attendees that it TOO was a blast!! They even met at the GL building Saturday afternoon for a walk down memory lane. Presumably, not as many folks cut school that day as they may have 50-plus years ago!
Stay tuned on ClassCreator for access to a direct communication channel to folks who might not be on social media!!
Also, stay tuned for the announcement for our 55-year reunion! It's coming!!
