Angie died on September 20, 1998, just one month after attending our 10-year reunion. She suffered from Lupus during her short life. Angie is remembered for her quiet and caring nature. She is survived by her husband, Greg, their two children, Jennifer and Justin, her parents and her siblings.
Angie is buried at Enon Cemetery. Directions will be determined at a later date.
Even though I did not know Angie very well during our time together at Greenon, I have come to know a lot more about her posthumously. You see, I am coaching Enon Pee Wee Football's Varsity Cheer Squad with her little sister, Tammy (who is married to Rob Shope, little brother of Kelly Shope '88).
I just told Tammy the other day that although I regret not getting to know Angie better in high school, I think it's pretty cool that I get to know her from all of Tammy's stories.
