Graduated Wright State University in 1993 with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. Enlisted in the Army in 1994 as an Army Bandsman (horn player). Graduated Army Officer Candidate School and became a logistics officer in 2002. In the 14 years I have been serving I have lived at: Fort Rucker (Enterprise), AL (95-97); Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii (98-00); Fort Lee (Petersburg), VA (01-02); Camp Casey, Tongduchong, South Korea (03-05); and Fort Campbell, KY/ Clarksville, TN (05-Present). I have deployed to Iraq (05-06) and am currently deployed to Afghanistan (07-09) Since being in the Army, I have had the opportunity to earn my Airborne and Rigger wings, become Sling Load Inspector qualified, conduct numerous airdrop missions delivering over 100 tons of food and ammunition to Soldiers located all over Afghanistan. I am currently conducting a logistic support mission in the remote Afghanistan province of Farah, located approximately 75 miles from the Iranian border.

The best part of being an Airborne "Loggy" in the Army is being able to throw stuff out of planes. This photo is after a LCLA (low cost low altitude) airdrop of rationions for a infantry outpost located in the mountains of Nawa, Afghanistan. - January 2008.

I've always been a lover of food. You can ask Heidi Kinnamon and she will tell you that I used to pick what parties I would go to in college based on whether there was food...to this day she calls me a foodie because I rather go to a grocery store over a mall! I love to cook and I am not one to pass up learning how to cook new things. This year I learned how to cook Indian/Curry from the Indian guys who ran the concrete plant in Salerno. This is me making chabati bread with my friend Rosie...
