Mike and I met (in college) while on a double date w/ opposite people...seriously! We married in 94. He is an engineer at Honda R&D. Have you seen the 09 Acura TL? He was in charge of all of the dynamic performance on that car. He said I should add something more about him than just "we married in 94."

I taught at Triad Elementary for 8 years. Then, I took 2 years off to stay at home w/ the kids.That was great the first year. After that, I needed to get out and be around some adults!! :) KUDOS to all of you who do it full-time!

I was the Gifted Intervention Teacher at Northridge Elementary part-time for the past three years. This year I am teaching third grade. I love teaching third grade, but boy do I miss my 3 day schedule! This 5 days a week stuff is for the birds!:)

I was able to fulfill my dream (no, not the one about dating Jay)hahahah :)the one of owning horses. I bought some horses over the past several years. That was what sealed the deal w/ marrying Mike...he knew that I wanted horses and I knew that he raced. :) A perfect match! Two expensive, and time consuming, hobbies to share!

We bought 18 acres last spring and are trying to sell our current home (yeah, good luck w/ this!) so that we can build a house and barns for Mike and I.

Noah and Mike keep busy racing go-karts. Noah is 3 points away from the championship and Mike is winning his class. Noah also plays baseball, soccer and wrestles.
Jordyn is busy w/ gymnastics,T-Ball and soccer. I don't know about the rest of you who have young daughters, but were they into clothes, make-up and cheerleading at like age 4? Good grief! I didn't think she knew what a cheerleader WAS at age 4! She is 6 going on 15! Her Kindergarten teacher once told me that she is the "Cat's meow of Kindergarten!" I have a feeling everything I did in High School is going to come back to haunt me!
