University of Toledo - right out of High School for two years - dropped out to work two jobs and live on my own. (Not the smartest thing I've ever done.)
Sinclair - Associates in Business Managament
Wright State University - Bachelor's in Accounting
Shore to Shore
Less than a year
Absolutely! Love going to work every day!
Own a bookstore, coffee shop, or art gallery
Tia - border collie/chow mix - ten in February - she's the good girl
Bailey - pug - six in February - only understands "Treats" - we're thinking of renaming him that - just so he'll come when called.
Thumper - english spotted rabbit - no idea how old - she was a gift from the girls at work.
You can probably still run into me out at Young's Dairy on the weekends in the summer, face-painting at the picnics. That's my fun job. My husband and I do a lot of art stuff - gallery shows, photo shoots, schmoozing with other artists.... And we spend a lot of time outside during the summer, hiking and taking pictures. Seems like there's a photo shoot every weekend!
Between the jobs, volunteering, art/photography stuff, and family.... we're pretty much on the go most of the time. (Probably why our house is a mess most of the time.)
How can I forget being a Duranie with my friends. And track meets (as a stat.) The INXS conert at Wittenburg. All the sleep-overs watching Friday Night Videos and MTV all night long. Music was a huge part of high school. And still is a big part of my life. I still listen to all the 80's hits!
Excited to start the rest of your life
Now that I'm on FaceBook - I get to chat with many more old friends. I run into people at Young's every now and then.
Sports?!?! Is couch potato a sport?
I did make it into the French Honor Society - even though I only took it for two years and Spanish for four.
Graduating.
Mr. Duncan
I should say my Mom - Mrs. Mosier - but I never had her as a teacher.
Biltmore Estate in Asheville & Smoky Mountains
In the mountains
reading, painting, crafts, playing with the Wii Fit, photography, hiking, playing with the dogs.
I have three brothers and two sisters. Matt is my half brother that grew up with me - seven years younger. Danny and Teresa are step-brother and sister from my stepdad's side - both older than me. And Joel and Yeisy are step-brother and sister from my stepmom's side - both younger than me.
Democrat - at least usually.
Dave Chappelle jammed with a friend in Yellow Springs when my husband had an art showing - he's a pretty good keyboard player.
I'd love to take art classes at DAI.
Just about anything. ABBA to ZZTop and everything in between. I don't care for rap or most country - but I'll listen to just about anything that's on.
Hinder, Theory of a Dead Man, Cage the Elephant
Duran Duran
There are WAY too many to list. Let's just say I've seen Air Supply and ZZTop and tons in between.
Bob Dylan, John Mellancamp, and Willie Nelson at Fifth Third Field
While You Were Sleeping, Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Practical Magic
Avatar - 3D
NCIS, CSI, Bones, 24, CSI NY, Antiques Roadshow (I can't explain that one - I'm hooked though)
Anything by Gary Jennings (historic fiction)
Anything by Jodi Picoult, Janet Evanovich, James Patterson, Patricia Cromwell.
Songs of a Humpback Whale - Jodi Picoult
Quaker Steak & Lube
There is no royal highway to splender, no shortcut to fortune or fame. You must fearlessly fight for it, dare to be right for it, failing yet playing the game. Unknown Author
Life is short, eat dessert first.
My wedding day. I waited a long time to find the right one. It rained all morning, stopped just in time for the ceremony, and there was a double rainbow on the way home.
Watching my father take his last breath.
to see people happy. To make people happy. To do things for other people. To help people. But the thing I love most is my family and friends.
Rude people. People with no common courtesy, no compassion, people who only think of themselves and not those around them.
