Age 67, of Springfield, passed away February 7, 2023. A memorial gathering will be held February 15,2023, 5-6pm at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home, Springfield, OH
Deeply saddened to learn of this. Joe served as a reserve officer and would come in to ride along from time to time. We had some good conversations going back to childhood. RIP Joe.
Joe was one of the first friends I made when I nervously transferred from my school to Roosevelt in 9th grade. His twin Jim and I soon became good friends too. He had no choice since I couldn't tell them apart for at least a year. As Jim said in his moving eulogy, Joe was a protector and lived his life helping those he thought he could help. Probably what he was doing for me back in 9th grade. Rest in peace old friend.

So very sad to hear this about Joe. He was one of the coolest...and Lord knows we need cool folks in Heaven!
Rest In Peace.

Joe was definitely one of the cool kids but always took time to say hello to me. We even went camping one time with a group and he was so much fun!
