It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Lane Gibbs, 68, of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on January 9, 2025. Frank was a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, and friend to many. He will be remembered for his kind heart, warm sense of humor, distinctive laugh, gentle voice, and genuine love for those around him.

Born on April 19, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, to Ronald Bruce Gibbs and Hazel Pearl Gibbs, Frank grew up with a passion for creativity and connection. He attended college in South Carolina before embarking on a career as a graphic designer. Frank also served three years in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.
