GREEN, Kevin Lamar 62, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 12, 2018 as the result of a fire in his home. He was born December 16, 1955 in Springfield, the son of Joseph and Frances Olivia (Jackson) Green. In his youth, Kevin was an avid sportsman. He still holds records in track and field events at Springfield North High School and Roosevelt Middle School. He was a graduate of Springfield North High School and Miami University and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include his cousin; Clayton (Lena) Tolliver Sr., second cousin; Clayton (Angie) Tolliver Jr., third cousins; Jaelynn, Clayton III and Lorynn Tolliver, Springfield, cousins; Sandra Thompson and Renee Statford, Cleveland, and uncle and aunt; Marty and Lida Harris, Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and aunt; Joan Ann Tolliver. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Trydestone Missionary Baptist Church, 1710 Damascus Avenue, with Pastor Moses Peterson Jr. officiating.
