MOORMAN, Mark Allan 62 of Urbana, Ohio went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 3, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 1, 1956 in Springfield, Ohio. Mark was a graduate of Springfield North High School. In the past, he worked at Buckles Motors as a car salesman. Mark was employed at Quantum Technologies in Marysville in the maintenance department and most recently he was the maintenance manager at Hearth and Home. Mark was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a dedicated praise team member as their drummer and vocalist along with previous bands he played in. He enjoyed woodworking, furniture refurbishing and loved riding his Harley Davidson. Mark always went above and beyond in anything asked of him and was always willing to help anyone. Mark is survived by his wife, Tammy Moorman; his mother, Lucille Moorman; daughter, Sarah McNeely; sons, Sam (Bobbie) Moorman, Kyle Moorman and Elijah (Jillian) Metherd; grandchildren, Samantha Moorman and Maggie Moorman; brothers, Dan Moorman, Chuck Moorman and brother-in-law, Steve (Pam) Sanders; sisters, Marcia (Michael) Lyons, Pam (Jim) Lundgren and sister-in-law, Kathy (Brian) Boysel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Moorman; brother, Roger Moorman; sister-in-law, Jane Moorman; brother-in-law, Joe Sample and father-in-law, Richard "Dick" Sanders. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the funeral home with Rev. Brian Wonn officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at OakDale Cemetery.
