Jerri Kime (Dyke)

I remember the shock of his death and thinking he could not be gone--he was too young. It had to be a horrible mistake.
I befriended the 3 "girls" who lived next door to him and knew him well. They shared stories of him and really helped those of us who gathered at his house to grieve, even though they were profoundly absorbed in their own world of grief. They unselfishly helped all of us.
Jay's death brought into my life an intense sadness and a new set of friends (and eventually their extended families) whom over the past 30 odd years, I continue to treasure to this day.

Jay's family has had to deal with many deaths (Jay, his parents, and last year his nephew Rusty Gordon at age 35, in a motorcycle accident).

Rusty was texting while driving his motorcycle and went left of center.

He was an only child (his mom is Lois Shaffer Gordon-North Class of 1971). Please pray for the family.
