Robin Russell
SPRINGFIELD — Robin Russell of Springfield died Dec. 9 at age 52. The family chose not to list the cause of death. A private family gathering is planned.
He was born Feb. 14, 1960, in Eugene to Edward and Delores Devine Russell. He married Mary Evelyn Cone on Feb. 2, 1985, in Eugene. They divorced in 1993.
He graduated from Springfield High School and attended the University of Oregon. He worked for 15 years as an accountant in Texas and worked four years as a postal clerk in Eugene. He also worked multiple odd jobs.
Survivors include his parents; a son, Jeremy Ryan Russell of Eugene; a daughter, Jessica Emma Russell of Splendora, Texas; a sister, Kimberly Hamilton of Springfield; and one grandchild.

I’m saddened to learn of the passing of my friend Robin.
Robin and I were friends in high school, and later when we went to the University of Oregon, we both joined the fraternity Pi Kappa Phi.
Robin was such a great friend to me. He was so funny, and his humor always made me laugh until my sides hurt. My favorite memory was his innate ability to drive his fraternity roommate crazy with laughter.

Sorry to hear of Robin's passing. I remember we were on the wrestling team together. 98lb weight class. How times have changed. Rest in Peace Robin.

Very sorry to see Robin has passed away young. I knew him from early early elementary school and remember him as having always been a sweet gentle young man.
