CHESTER - The private funeral service for Barbara A. Smith, 55, who died Jan. 12 in Florida, was held in St. Petersburg, Fla.

 

She was born in West Rutland, Jan 12, 1938, daughter of Wendell Marvin and Delia (Pelkey) Noyes.

 

Mrs. Smith graduated from Springfield High School in 1958.

 

Survivors include two daughters Laura Glacier of Lincoln, Neb., and Lisa Smith of St. Petersburg; four grandchildren; a brother, Wendell M. Noyes Jr, of Fama, Japan; three sisters, Reba Hearn and Betty Klein, both of Chester, and Suzanne Bargfrede of Baltimore. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert M Noyes, in 1987.
