SPRINGFIELD - Word has been received of the death of Kenneth L. Scofield, 46, who died April 3 in Lansing, Mich.

He was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Springfield.

Mr. Scofield was a 1958 graduate of Springfield High School.

He was employed by Bryant Grinder Corp, for 30 years and for the past 10 years was a resident service engineer for that company.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Gregory Scofield; two sons, Aaron Baxter Scofield of Lansing, Mich, and Todd Ashley Scofield currently serving in the U.S. Army in San Francisco, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Christina Reasoner King of Maine; one stepson, Lawrence Reasoner of California; his parents, Ronald and Ruth (Johnson) Scofield of Riviera Beach, Fla.; one brother, Leonard Green Scofield of Pine Hill, N.J.; one sister, Sylvia Scofield Ogden of Levittown, Pa.; and, one grandson and many other relatives.
