SPRINGFIELD - Carol D. Scullin, 61, died March 16, 2002, at Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor.

She was born Jan. 18, 1941, in Proctor, the daughter of Onni A. and Lena D. (Baccei) Hella. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1959.

She married John C. Scullin Feb. 25, 1961, in Springfield.

Mrs. Scullin was a longtime employee of Liggetts Pharmacy in Springfield, starting in 1976.

She enjoyed woodworking, house restoration and furniture refinishing.

She is survived by her mother of Springfield; her husband of Springfield; a son, John C. Scullin Jr. of Springfield; a daughter, Janet L. Scullin of Springfield; a brother, Richard A. Hella of North Andover, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield. The Rev. William Nelson, pastor of the First Congregational Church in Springfield, will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield.
