Deceased Name: Richard B. Hussey
NORTH SPRINGFIELD - Richard B. Hussey, 59, died Feb. 16, 2001, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
He was born Aug. 7, 1941, in Springfield, the son of Ronald B. and Alma (Nonsruth) Hussey. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1959.
Mr. Hussey worked at the Jones and Lamson Machine Tool Company in Springfield for 27 years.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Hussey of North Springfield; a son, Richard B. Hussey Jr. of Claremont, N.H.; a daughter, Wendy M. Hussey of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Robert J. Hussey of Ascutney; a sister, Sharon Shute of North Springfield; two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Davis Memorial Chapel, 99 Summer Street in Springfield. The Rev. Richard Cedarholm, pastor of the North Springfield Baptist Church, will officiate. Spring burial will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Davis Memorial Chapel.

I have often thought of Dick and wondered where he was and what he was up to. I am truly saddened by the news of his death. He was a great friend and high school "buddy".Paul M White
From the obituary, kindly supplied by the Springfield Reporter, and a phone conversation with his Daughter-In-Law I submit the following:Dick passed away February 16, 2001. He was very sick with "liver issues" and passed while at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. His family surrounded him.
He left his Mother, Alma; a son, Richard B. Hussey, Jr.; a daughter, Wendy M. Hussey; a brother, Robert J. Hussey; and a sister, Sharon. Plus many grand-children, nieces, nephews, etc.
That closes things up for me. I will have to wait for the 'beyond' to renew and 'goof-off' like kids again.
