How can any one in the class not take some time just to even let Richard know that hhe missed. RICHARD, was by far the best baseball player that our class every had, and even as good as he was he was always able to keep the same hat size. I remember a time when the baseball coach came into a class that was going on and said: The following are to show up at the field house to suit up for a road trip. I know we were to young at that time, but it was great moment in a young mans life. RICHARD CARLISLE CURT BLAKE AND RICHARD WILSON. Rest well my friend, you will never be forgotten.

Dick was a great guy and a friend who was cherished. Always a gentleman and always a smile.

I too fondly remember the good times we had in Trig class ( I probably would have failed had it not been for him) and, of course, on the baseball field. Dick loved the game and I trust he has found his "field of dreams."

Peggy and I attended his wedding and I was honored to have been invited.

You're remembered!!

Dick(Dickie) was one of my earliest and closest friends. we both grew up on Mount Vernon St, played toss and catch among the soon to disappear elm trees and climbed the stairs to Mrs Hogues kindergarten. We walked the Shoddy Mill path to Central school for the first three grades, over to East school for the fourth grade and into the brand new Union St school at the Xmas break. Our families moved to opposite sides of town, however, we still visited often, sharing our interest in baseball through card collecting and our separate allegiances to the Yankees and Red Sox. In August of 1952, Dick advised me of some new cards for sale at Vigo's that contained Mickey Mantle and other cards not for sale in the original April issue. I remarked that I was not interested because baseball season was almost over. In later years, I have often reflected that these cards turned out to be the famous, valuable 1952 Topps High numbers. I was also honored to attend Dicks wedding. Dick was best in baseball, baseball teams, business and a wonderful guy and "Mighty Methodist". I miss him dearly.

I remember Dick the most from all the varsity baseball games we played during our Jr and Senior years at SHS. Dick was a strapping big kid who batted left handed and hit it a mile.
I remember one time in practice, even though I played second base, I was pitching and threw him one of my slow fast balls. He hit it so hard that it still has to be going up today.
Rest in peace my friend.
