Mary Stevens (Canterbury)
Hey Gang, Sorry I haven't put in any more details since the reunion. The Monday after the reunion Jeff had to go in the hospital. Some of you know that Jeff has Tourette Syn. (a nervous disorder) and OCD (obsessive compulsion disorder)plus alot of other health problems. He has been disabled retired since 1996. The medicine he has been on for years was no longer working. They had to change all his medicine which was a major ordeal. He was on Xanx for the last 10-15 yrs at 9mg a day. That's enough to kill a horse. He literally had to detox off the Xanx and had to be monitored closly. He ended up spending 30 days in the hospital. I was driving back and forth and working my two jobs. Reading your notes and looking at all the pictures enabled me to relax and step aside for awhile. He is home now and doing great! The new medicine is really working, but we all know it's the great physician don't we. I spoke to my mother-in-law earlier, Julie's mom, they have found a house to rent. They seem to be in good spirits. They had sooooooooooo many loving people their to help during and after the ordeal. Lillie Grace(the youngest) wanted to know if she was going to have her purple room back! As long as she has her blanky(I think she calls it) and her doll, she's alright. We'll probably see them this weekend for Patrick's 22 birthday party. Man am I getting younger or what! I have some pictures of the reunion, I'll just have to get someone to show me how to load them on the cp. This web sight is soooo impresive. Ya'll ought to go into business together and make US some money! Untill we chat again! Lots of memories, Mary Aletha
