Have lived in Lloydminster, Tokyo and Toronto since graduating. Have sold photocopiers, taught English and practiced law. Got married and have 3 girls. I don't think I would have foreseen any of the foregoing in 1983. (Well, maybe the law thing and marriage. Definitely not the photocopiers and the 3 girls spread over 9 years.)Funny how the ball bounces.
School Story:
I think some of us took "air guitar" way too seriously. (And I don't think it was just me.) Really, who came up with such a bizarre concept and how mortified would those of us who participated in it be if videos of our "performances" were shown to our spouses or children? But I don't think I'll ever forget Monica strutting across the stage while Ryan lip-synched "Hungry Like the Wolf". I hope that doesn't creep anyone (particularly Monica) out.
Me in Whistler in February 2008. From the uncanny family resemblance you will have rightly concluded that the two people with me are my 7 and 10 year old daughters.

Coming out of 5 days in the backcountry, Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park. Forgot the fishing rods 13 clicks back and no one wanted to paddle back to get them - go figger. The person to my left is not my eldest daughter, it's my clone. I call him "Mini me" for lack of a more original name.

If you were forced to dress up like a fairy you'd be pissed off too.

This was taken by some stalker at a Canada Day parade in Quebec. There is rarely anything good about impromptu photos, but it is one of the rare pics I own with my whole family in it. To be clear, that's me with the kid on my head.
