Genie Harris Meadows

I got married on April 4th, 1992. I married a wonderful man named Scott Meadows. We have been married for 17 years. He is a Manager at Johnny Mac's Sporting Goods Store. After 7 months of marriage we found out my husband had cancer. Thank GOD He healed my husband and he is doing great! We were also told after his cancer we would never have children. We were married 7 years and then I got pregnant. We had our miracle baby that GOD blessed us with. Her name is Alesha Ann Meadows and she is now 9 years old. She is a beautiful little girl. She is great at dance and softball. We have only had the one child but we thank GOD daily for our miracle child. We also just added a puppy to our family. We have a Maltese and my daughter named her Princess. She is five months old. She has been great for our family. I was in Management for over 12 years in the insurance industy working for Prudential. Then when Prudential closed their office in St. Louis I went to work at General American. I worked there until I found out I was pregnant. Then I stayed home with my daughter for a few years. Then I worked at home doing medical processing. Right now I am working part time at a company called CTA. I love working but I also love being a mom and a wife. My grandparent's who raised me are both doing great and are in great health. I have been blessed over these past 20 years and I thank GOD for always being there for me and my family.

I really enjoyed my school years. The best part was getting to meet so many wonderful friends. I had a lot of fun being on the flag team and participating with the band on the field. I also got the chance to be in Jennifer Timmer's wedding. She was beautiful. I have also seen Stacy Lawrence at St. Joseph's hospital working. I always enjoy seeing my friends. Jennifer and Stacy were both in my wedding. I can't wait to see everybody again.
