After 34 years of teaching, I am taking the Michigan Teacher's Incentive and I'll be retiring this July, 2010!

During my 8th grade year, 2 girls in my class, (twin sisters, names I can't remember), planned to have a Saturday afternoon halloween party at their home. When the school got wind of it, they announced that anyone who attended would be expelled. (It was a boy/girl party!) Of course we went to the party anyway!
