I am retired as a nurse. I lost my husband 13 and 1/2 years ago. My family keeps me busy when I am not working. My children are all married. I have 9. I am still friends with Suzanne Visger. My mom still belongs to SJA. I go to Mass there on occassion, esp when I work weekends.

Lighting of the Advent wreath candles and Christmas plays for the priests in the main hallway of the school. Cleaning the classroom and chalk board for Sr Mary Jogues. Sitting in the hallway on parents night for different teachers and the nuns when they would ask us.... and feeling honored that they asked. Milk machines and it only cost $.05. Scrapping off the wax onto the floor. Working and cleaning in the sacristy. Setting up the vestments for the priests. We were the last class to graduate from the old church. Fr Flynn ran the teen club for us. Homework nights at the Teen Club in basement of the old church. Dances in the gym. Bon fires and balloon fights in the atletic fields.
