Classmates,

It is with regret that the Reunion Planning Committee would like to inform you that our class funds of $642.50 have been held and not released by a classmate and former member of the planning committee. As a class, we had a positive balance following the 20th reunion and as a result of pre-paid tickets to the 25th reunion.  This money was to be used towards future reunions, website maintenance, ongoing outreach, etc..  Following the 20th reunion, most planning members stepped down so that a new planning committee could be formed.  The class money was moved from a bank account to a Paypal account. The Paypal account was supposed to have 2 classmates with access at all times.  Unfortunately, this did not happen and only 1 classmate had access to the funds.  Over a period of many months, the planning committee has tirelessly attempted to recover the funds, albeit unsuccessfully.  The committee is pursuing further action with law enforcement, but in the meantime, we feel it is important to let you know what has happened to the class money.  We are deeply sorry and troubled that the class money is no longer available.  Please know that as a committee we are working diligently toward resolution, but feel it is important to inform the class of the current situation.
