Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Cloud for Howard K. DeGree, 31, of 145 1st Ave. SW, who died Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital as a result of injuries received in a four wheeler accident.
Rev. David Strohschein will officiate and burial will be at Langola Cemetery in Rice.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the church in St. Cloud. Holy Cross Lutheran prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.

Howard was born Dec. 26, 1970 in St. Cloud to Richard & Millie (Doeden) DeGree. He married Rose Stangler on Dec. 20, 1997 at St. Cloud American Legion Post #76. He lived in the St. Cloud area all his life and was a 1990 graduate of Apollo High School. He worked for Witcher Constr-uction of Eden Prairie and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.

Survivors include his wife, Rose of Rice; son, Roger Alan Degree of Rice; stepson, Glenn Tollakson of Rice; parents, Richard & Millie DeGree of St. Cloud; brothers and sister, Jim (Laura) DeGree of St. Cloud, Jackie DeGree (Mitch Storms) of Waite Park, and Jason (Chris) DeGree of Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kelly & Addie Doeden and Merel Rutter.
