Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Crossroads Christian Church, Waite Park for Kari Ann Irwin, age 36, of St. Joseph, who died of cancer Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Rev. Pat Ridpath will officiate and burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Sartell. Friends may call one hour prior to the services Thursday at the church. Arrangements are being made by Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.
Kari was born May 15, 1972 in St. Cloud to Judy Shir. She grew up in Waite Park and St. Cloud and graduated from Apollo High School in 1990. Kari married Jeremy Irwin on June 5, 1993 in St. Cloud. She graduated Deans List at St. Cloud Technical College in 1998 as a Medical Secretary/Transcriptionist and was employed by St. Cloud Urology until switching to Viking Adjusting. Kari enjoyed shopping, scrap booking, and visiting with friends.
Survivors include her husband, Jeremy of St. Joseph; sons and daughter, Christopher Irwin of St. Paul, Karen Irwin of St. Cloud, and Sean Chapp of St. Joseph; parents, Wally and Judy Neidhart of St. Joseph; aunt, Carole Dziuk of Arizona; and many friends.
Kari was preceded in death by her grandparents, Laddie and Irma Shir.
