20 years ago I was sighing over homework, hanging out with some crazy fun-loving friends, cruising the Blvd, and gathering around fires at the Hole and the the Strip. I still gather around fires with crazy fun-loving people, but now it is along the Thailand-Burma border. My heart and passion is to help bring hope, help, and the love of God to those who are suffering so much in Burma. I also am a very proud mom. My greatest joy is watching my 19-year-old daughter, Shalise, grow, live, love, learn, crash, and get back up again. Life has certainly has had its ups and downs, victories and challenges, but it's a journey I wouldn't want to change a thing. "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--"Wow! What a Ride!"
