Dear Jane-

Sorry to hear of this new challenge for you and your family--

It was great that you were able to attend reunion, and so good to see you--

Will certainly hope that your husband will get the best of care at St. John's

and that you will be able to get to Florida for your son's wedding.

Keeping you all in prayers and sending love-- Betsy

Revisit your cafeteria days at Mary I.   I've used this recipe many times.  It came from the Betty Crocker Cookbook.

     LEMON PUDDING CAKE            Serves 6

2 eggs, separated                        1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel    ½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup lemon juice                       ¼ teaspoon salt
     2/3 cup milk
Heat oven to 350ºF.  Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside.
Beat egg yolks.  Blend in lemon peel, juice and milk.  Add sugar,
flour and salt; beat until smooth.  Fold into whites.  Pour into
ungreased 1-quart casserole.  Place casserole in pan of very hot
water, 1 inch deep.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes.  Serve warm or cool.    Carole Laube Paquin

Hi guys!

Seeing you all last week was such fun............and I never anticipated how delightful some of our conversations could be!   I had forgotten how much I enjoy some of you, never realized how much I could enjoy some of you, and regret that I had too few conversation with others of you!

This message is sent with both instructions and apologies.

The 164 reunion pictures are finally posted on my website.  If, after you check out the pictures, you want any of them, you can order them through the website.  They are in 5X7 format.

My apology is that although I tried to take equal representation, it didn’t turn out that way.  Some of you have fewer pictures - and then there’s Jan and Susan!  If I wasn’t hanging out with you, there are fewer pictures of you..........but......also............ If group pictures were terribly unflattering of one person I just deleted the picture.  If you absolutely hate a picture of you that I have posted, and are ready to murder me for putting it on line, please e-mail me at patsy@dhall.com and I will take it off the site.

The address of the site is www.photographybypatsy.net.

Once you are in, go to Images

Then go to People

Then go to Friends

MI REUNION is in Friends.

The other way you can get in is go to the FIND tab and push MICDS REUNION or your name, if you see it there.

If you have time to peruse the site, I will consider it a huge personal favor if you will write me a message in the Guestbook so I know you visited the site.

Here’s hoping our paths cross again very soon.

Hugs to all,

Patsy

 Jane,

Of course I will pray for your husband and whole family!

I had pneumonia and was hospitalized Jan 6. ( I think I had had it since late November and didn't know it. DUH!!!)

I am sure he will recover and bounce back, just like I did. (I have issues with the nursing home however and intend to report them. You can't put a newspaper women in a place like that and not expect repercussions! And it was a "good" one at that.) :-)

Much love,

Christy

Jane:   I hope Don is doing better.  First your fall and then this, you are really under a lot of stress.  I'm so glad you got "drugged up" so you could come to all the reunion activities!   I hope you are feeling better now too.  Were we ever lucky with our "reunion weather"....this last week has been a bummer...with rain...and more rain.  Keep in touch so we know how things are going.  Sandie
