The culmination of lots of planning, Saturday night was so much fun.  The energy in the room was amazing.  The people there sharing their lives and friendships made anew -- and new friendships forged.

It was so much more than I expected!  Maybe I went for the "memories", but what I really found was that I actually replaced old memories (some of which were painful) with lots of new memories which were wonderful.

I was so happy to see everyone roaming and visiting with so many people.  Thanks for everything -- all you Golden Eagles!

OK, enough with the Franki Valli shit, he was a little before our time...so, how bout a little rewrite on some Peaches & Herb.

We were such fools to let our friends pass by
How could we let those old friendships die
To see them once more not far from I-44
We realized what memories came flashing back . hey-hey

We spent the evening with some drinks in hand
And catching up with principal Dr. Sam
Was great seeing him, and other faculty too
An unbeliveable evening thanks to all of you, hey-hey...

Reunited and it felt so good,
Just like we hope and planned it would
Was one perfect night, and classmates this one was it.
We all were so excited cuz we're reunited hey-hey...

I'm obviously not in a too terribly serious mood at the moment, so I'll share the more serious thoughts later.. I just wanted to take this time to say what an amazing evening it was and much more than anyone ever expected.  It was so wonderful seeing everyone, can we do it again next week?

OK - I know this forum format may be new to everyone, but you all are looking at the forum threads -- see it keeps track of that!  But no one is posting their own comments.

We were hoping to hear about something special that happened to you, some person you really got to know that you didn't know before, or anything!  But this total silence....come on you guys the room was so loud we couldn't hear each other think.
