Graduated from Washington University in May 1965 with a BSIE (Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Degree). Married Mary Lou Meyer (McKinley High School June 1961 graduate) on June 26, 1965 (our first date was July 31, 1961 when I was 18 and she was 17). We met as co-workers at Hesselberg Drug Company; 3137 South Grand.
Worked as an Industrial Engineer at Laclede Steel Company (Alton, Illinois) the summer before my senior year at Wash U, part-time during my senior year then full time after my May 1965 graduation. Began working as an Industrial Engineer at the downtown St. Louis Anheuser-Busch brewery on February 1, 1967. Was promoted to Resident Industrial Engineer and transferred to New Hampshire on December 1, 1969 as part of the start up team for the under construction Merrimack, New Hampshire brewery. Retired from Anheuser-Busch on May 1, 2002 at age 58 after over 35 years working for A-B. Lived in the same house for 39 years (105 Fawn Lane, Nashua, New Hampshire). My wife and I moved back to the St. Louis area in December 2008.
My wife, Mary Lou, graduated from New England Aeronautical Institute (Nashua, NH) in 1984 with an Associate Degree in Business. She graduated from Rivier College (Nashua, NH) in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. She worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of St. Joseph Hospital (Nashua, NH). Retired from St. Joseph Hospital on May 1, 1999 after 21 plus years at the age of 55.
