Guy Thomas Gastreich, 71, of Herculaneum died Aug. 14, 2015, in Herculaneum. Mr. Gastreich was a broker at a brokerage firm. He was a veteran of the US Army. Born Dec. 26, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Dorothy (Hoffman) Gastreich.

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn (Featherston) Gastreich; two sons: Guy M. (Dana) Gastreich of St. Louis and Michael (Ruth) Gastreich of Norfolk, Va.; a daughter: Darlean (John) Sneed of Herculaneum; a sister: Joan Suzor of St. Louis; a sister-in-law: Martha Gastreich of Arnold; and nine grandchildren: Samantha, Sydney, Alec, William, Savannah, Nick, Greg, Kylie and Jacob.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the VFW or the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
