Paul A. Prendergast died suddenly on August 5, 2012. He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Loretta Prendergast, brother of John (Marylou) Prendergast, the late Edward M. Prendergast, the late Michael (the late Colleen) Prendergast, and Mary (John) Knudsen. Paul was also a loving uncle, great-uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend to many.

He was a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier Church at St. Louis University.

Paul served in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy and is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
